Yesterday Kim Kardashian announced her engagement to Kris Humphries, a forward on the New Jersey Nets. Do we care? Meh. Not really. We tend not to care about socialite celebrities who are famous for nothing in particular besides reality shows for chicks, dating athletes, and a direct bloodline to one of O.J. Simpson's late attorneys. We also can't help but imagine that right now there's a professional basketball or football player somewhere who's kicking himself for not having a go at the hottest Kardashian when he had a chance. But regardless, Humphries seems like he'll hardly be the type of husband who keeps his apple-bottomed arm candy away from photographers and out of the public eye.
